So let’s begin!

Step 1: Select a theme




Goanimate offers a variety of themes, select the theme which suits your needs. It can be a meeting room scenario, graphs, plant or a worksite and so on.

Step 2: Choosing the template



Once you select a theme you will land in Goanimate Video Maker. Here you can find a variety of templates to choose from. Each template has a pre-image scene with the background, character props and text boxes prepopulated. You can reset the scene and customize it as per your requirement.

Step 3: Customizing the character


After you select the template, by clicking on the character the action panel comes out and you can give your character an action and align the dialogues.

Step 4: Creating a character


By using character creator tool you can even create your own character and here you can edit the character features as per your requirement like hair color, eye color.

Step 5: Adding Transition




If you want to create a scene transition, first you have to make sure that the later scene is selected.

For example, if you want to show the transition from day to night go to the next scene and click on Scene setting button and change the background button to the color of night.

In the later scene. After choosing the background color go to Effects column and click on Transition with the previous scene option, after selecting you will get different scene transition effects. Select the effect which combines with the previous scene. You can also use “Dissolve” option between the previous scene and the next scene.

Step 6: Adding Widgets




Widgets here helps us to present the data in an engaging way. By choosing the widget tool it helps you to showcase the data which includes charts, custom calendars, and other visualization tools. You can select the particular widget and you can also import your own data.

This feature is great for presentation and for sales meetings.

Step 7: Importing the data


By selecting “Import Media” option you can upload your own images, audio files, outside videos, fonts, and logos into the video maker. By importing the outside media elements it will be automatically added to the video and you can change the position and resize the elements.

Step 8: Publishing
